Facebook Activity Scrubber is a Chrome extension that helps you clean up your Facebook activity log by automating the deletion of posts, comments, likes, and other activities from your profile. It provides a simple, browser-based interface to manage your digital footprint.
The idea came to me after a friend discovered that even though they deleted their Facebook account 15 years ago, it could still be reactivated with all their old activity intact. That experience highlighted the need for a tool that allows people to take control of their digital privacy.
This was my very first Chrome extension, and I had a blast making it. I created the design and icon myself, and it was also my first time registering a domain through Porkbun. I was genuinely impressed with their product and service, which made the launch process smooth and enjoyable.
